Empire Chevy of Hicksville went above and beyond. My lease on my Mazda was up and really did not know what car I wanted and just happened to stop in here at Empire Chevy and left with my new 2025 Chevy Equinox and I couldn't be any happier. Their customer service is excellent and very attentive to your needs with patience thrown in since I went back and forth between colors. Tom Misiak my salesman answered any and all questions with kindness, patience and knowledge. The Equinox is a really great car, I love it and Empire Chevy of Hicksville is a hidden gem that shines bright.

I had a great experience at Empire Chevrolet! My car's check engine light and several warnings popped up over the weekend, as did an urgent alert about the engine and transmission. I called my main dealership and was told that they would not be able to fit me in for a few days at best, and referred me to a service station out east that I could go to if I felt my situation was urgent. I called Empire Chevrolet instead to see if they could help me out, and they squeezed me in right away and had my car repaired and ready to go the next day! There were a few different issues that caused the lights and notifications to come on, and Dawn and the team were communicative, friendly, and very helpful throughout the whole process. I absolutely recommend going to Empire Chevrolet for any service needs!

I dropped my car off for the 60,000 check up. My car was ready way before expected. The only issue that I had is the 3% additional fee for using a credit card. I was not informed of that prior and I didn't happen to just have $800 in cash in my pocket. I don't think that it is right to add an additional fee when the cost of the service has such a high profit margin. For example the battery for the fob. I could buy it on amazon for $4.00 and the cost in the breakdown in fees is $15 for the battery.

I paid $1500 in routine maintenance, which included an oil change as well as flushing other fluids. The simple act of forgetting to reset the oil in the computer has opened the door to me questioning what work was actually done. I have been assured that all work was completed, but I don't feel good about the money I spent.

The service was fast, everyone involved was professional and polite. In the end I was happy with the work and I really couldn't expect anything more.

The only good thing that happened was the service manager was able to get my engine fixed under warranty. Thank him for that. But the communication was terrible. They had my car for 2 and a half months. They had my car doing nothing. Terrible.

No loaner vehicles available as usual with your dealership. If my vehicle needs a full day to get serviced then you should be providing a vehicle for customer use. No excuses allowed👎

I had to take the car for servixe twice within 12 hours for the same related issue. On the second time, image to talk to the servixemanager Tim, in order to get the solution to the problem. Thank you to Elia, Calos and Tim.

Most dealership offers car wash.

On May 16th my vehicle was brought in with complete electrical failure. Codes included No environmental identification, Lost communication with inflatable restraint system, instrument cluster, radio, amplifier instrument control panel, body control module and electrical brake control -- among others. I had to drive the vehicle from Rockaway Beach queens to the dealership in Hicksville long island in a hazardous condition with no lights, turn signals or hazard lights. It took the service department two business days even look at vehicle. At this time the systems had come back on. Service then called to say there was "nothing wrong" with the vehicle. Obviously these systems are not supposed to fail for hours or days at a time and something IS WRONG with the vehicle, however service clearly does not know how to properly diagnose or remedy the situation. I will be filing complaints with Chevrolet and consumer protection. If these systems were to fail again at night. I would be at serious risk for accidents or bodily injury.

My experience at your dealership was excellent, I dropped my vehicle off in the morning and it was waiting for me by the time I returned from work. My car was as clean as it was when I dropped it off. The staff was very professional and addressed any concerns I had. The service consultant that helped me was Fritz Wellman. He was courteous, polite, and definitely an asset to your service department. Thank you for making my experience their effortless.

They are great in attending to customers concerns. We got our third vehicle from them and it was done so smoothly.only finance department was little bit tricky, you have to be careful when they add so many fees.

Very good service, however, in my first year with Robert Chevy- they never give gave me a loaner car but they gave me two hour service for inspection/oil change for my C8. If the service is longer than 1/2 day they drive me home. Next two years under Empire Chevy, no two hour service and no shuttle service to my home.

Quick service I will say the bombardment of the requests for the survey is a little offputting. 4 text messages, 2 phone calls, and multiple emails is a bit much.

My service representative Rich was pleasant to talk to. Due to the age of the car he suggested a coolant and brake fluid flush which I agreed with but only went with the coolant flush at this time. I was disappointed to see I was charged full price for the oil change and tire rotation when a sale was being advertised for $109.99 though I didn't mention it when ordering the service. But Rich did come up to me to give me an update on when my car would be finished.

The experience was good overall, it was an easy process. The only issue I have is the car we were looking to buy, which had to be delivered, had all weather mats. The price of the car was based upon that feature ($500) for that. The car we received was a different care because the one we saw the specs on was no longer available, but the $500 was not taken off the price of the car. We should have looked closer before finalizing the deal but this has just not sit well, otherwise the experience was great.

It was wonderful to work with Edwin. I was looking for a new brand after 15 years with another. He listened about my finances and my concerns. He was respectful and not pushy. Thanks to Gregory Beaumont everything went as he said it would. I only brought my Camaro in for a NYS inspection, but the alignment machine said the rear needed an adjustment. My car has been sitting here since November 2025 “awaiting” an engine. The window was broken and the inside smelt of mold and mildew. Settling with lemon law as we speak and never dealing with GM again.

My experience with the service dept was wonderful. I was in and out in a short amount of time and the service rep Greg was top notch.

Requested NYS Inspection and oil change with tire rotation. The request was completed without incident. I will return in the future for service.

the dealer really does care about customer satisfaction. I bought a used equinox and within 6000 miles the rear tires wore out. The dealer said I needed two new tires and a alignment. Instead of paying for two tires and the alignment I only had to pay for one tire plus labor. That worked for me.

I’ve gone for oil changes and tire rotations there for years and this time my husband took my car and for a tire rotation and an oil change The fee went up almost $60!!!! I did go back to the dealer to complain about such outrageous prices. I was helped by the manager, Eddie, who is very nice and did make accommodations for your company‘s highway robbery. So from this point on I will be going to an oil change company to have it done. I will not pay such high prices for something that you do not have to charge so much for. Thank you again to the manager, Eddie. He was very accommodating and professional and he’s an asset to your company.

My "change Engine Oil Light" came on, so I made an appointment to have the oil changed! I like to bring my car to Empire - everyone is so nice and helpful! The atmosphere is pleasant. One thing I take issue with is paying 3% more to use a credit card!

I already responded to one of these requests. Please do not contact me again. My experience was far beyond sub par. I had an appointment for Monday at 9am. I was exactly on time. My truck wasn't ready until Friday. Unacceptable. I left two messages and received no call back until Thursday. I then got a call on Thursday at 5. I was told that could pick my truck up in 15 minutes or I would have to wait until Friday. I live more than 15 minutes away from the dealership. Why did I make an appointment and then get my truck back 5 days later?

We had a very good experience at the dealership. Blake was very knowledgeable and efficient and was able to give us a deal the same day. We actually left with the car at the trading in our current model. Every transaction should be that easy.

An error by the finance manager led to inconvenience and hassle for me. I was asked to come back in several times due to an error I pointed out before signing the papers for my lease. When I pointed that out I was quickly offered a decrease in my monthly payments. I said I would come in the following day to work it out and I was met with dismissal as the error was worked around by the FM, leading me to believe I could have received a better price on my lease. The manger was texting me to urgently complete this survey or I wouldn’t receive the benefit offered, only problem was that I hadn’t received the survey yet. The salesman, Yrad was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional.

Elia explained everything that was scheduled to be done. He kept me informed of how long it would be until my car would be ready and went over the final bill line by line. One note - I forgot to tell him to also do the NYS inspection. I went to a service station the next day and the mechanic pointed out that 2 tires needed to be replaced. This fact was evidently missed when the tires were rotated.

It seems that every dealer you call for service has a one to two week wait. If you go there, you find out there is no wait. They just tell you that on the phone. Everything went well. All the people that helped me were very nice and helpful. The only complaint I have is the price of $175 to do an oil change and tire rotation. I find that ridiculous. If I had know that I would not have brought it there to get it done. My first 2 were free so just out of habit I brought it back for a 3rd. I understand the price of labor and materials has gone up but still that’s over the top. This is why most people refuse to go to a dealership service department. This might even deter me from leasing another truck from Empire in the next year and a half. I had a salesman there I liked a few years ago and he has since left so I’m pretty sure I will be shopping around for a better lease and note to self never use a dealership for an oil change. Only recalls or warranty work.

The only complaint I have is that the website gave zero indication when booking a service appointment that there was no service on the weekend. Please improve your service booking page

My experience at Empire Chevrolet was a mixed bag. My advisor, Greg, was fine; he was helpful and professional and kept me informed regarding the status of my Cobalt during the time it was being repaired - really, he was very good, in fact, the only positive part of this review. The real issue was going on behind the scenes. Before Empire Chevrolet of Hicksville took over Robert Chevrolet, Robert Chevrolet had amazing service. If they were still the same dealership, I would've had my car back within at least a few days tops. Instead, Empire Chevrolet had it for almost 1 month. They were backed up and were able to see my car after about a week and a half after I brought it in. I understand that sometimes places can be a bit backlogged for a day or two, however, being behind for a week and a half is unacceptable. I brought my car in October 23rd and picked it up November 19th. I brought it in due to some issues with the transmission. Even though the car is in good working order for the most part, the service department didn't even bother to clean my car up. There was a lot of sprigs from a tree around my windshield and many more in the seams around my trunk. I, too, found a couple of smudges on my car (which I was able to clean). I felt my car didn't receive as much respect as it should've. Also, I did notice that when I shift into reverse, I heard the slight sound of mild grinding. Even though the car still works and gets me from point A to point B safely and efficiently, I feel as though Empire Chevrolet of Hicksville could've done much better.

Your agent, Greg, took all my information, listened to my particular concern and had my car ready (with that concern taken care of) in record time. He was extremely helpful and friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Second time I paid for a tire rotation. Charged. And my tires were NOT rotated. Just like last time. This leads me to wonder. What proof do I have the “much needed” break fluid change was actually done. Zero confidence. Same day email from sales manager they want my car. I refuse to do anymore business with Empire.
