I had a great experience!

Quality of the repairs was good, but overall communication and accountability of the service team was not acceptable. I've sent a detailed message to the Service Manager.

Joe and Greg were great! They always are friendly and have wonderful costumer service skills. I understand the credit card fee but perhaps it should be waived for GM cards. I signed up for the card thanks to your dealership and it seems odd that there is a fee to use it.

My service representative Rich was pleasant to talk to. Due to the age of the car he suggested a coolant and brake fluid flush which I agreed with but only went with the coolant flush at this time. I was disappointed to see I was charged full price for the oil change and tire rotation when a sale was being advertised for $109.99 though I didn't mention it when ordering the service. But Rich did come up to me to give me an update on when my car would be finished.

I was highly disappointed in your company’s policy!! I’ve gone for oil changes and tire rotations there for years and this time my husband took my car and for a tire rotation and an oil change The fee went up almost $60!!!! I did go back to the dealer to complain about such outrageous prices. I was helped by the manager, Eddie, who is very nice and did make accommodations for your company‘s highway robbery. So from this point on I will be going to an oil change company to have it done. I will not pay such high prices for something that you do not have to charge so much for. Thank you again to the manager, Eddie. He was very accommodating and professional and he’s an asset to your company.

The experience was good overall, it was an easy process. The only issue I have is the car we were looking to buy, which had to be delivered, had all weather mats. The price of the car was based upon that feature ($500) for that. The car we received was a different care because the one we saw the specs on was no longer available, but the $500 was not taken off the price of the car. We should have looked closer before finalizing the deal but this has just not sit well, otherwise the experience was great.

Your salesman Tom was a great help and very knowledgeable about the truck. Even after I purchased the truck he stayed in contact and helped with an issue I had. Tom responded to all my needs.

My car broke down and had it dropped off after hours. I called the service department the next morning to let them know. They said they would get to it as soon as they can. To my surprise it was ready quickly with no charge. The manager introduced himself when I picked it up and was very personable Great experience.

the dealer really does care about customer satisfaction. I bought a used equinox and within 6000 miles the rear tires wore out. The dealer said I needed two new tires and a alignment. Instead of paying for two tires and the alignment I only had to pay for one tire plus labor. That worked for me.

Greg from GM Hicksville was excellent, he explained what was coming, he listened to my needs and he went out of his way to make sure my request was met, exceptional service and what a great personality, he show that he really cared, will go there again for all my services.

The staff there is wonderful and attentive. I was very surprise however at the ENORMOUS increase in the price for an oil change. It went from $89 to $149. That is absolutely outrageous!

My "change Engine Oil Light" came on, so I made an appointment to have the oil changed! I like to bring my car to Empire - everyone is so nice and helpful! The atmosphere is pleasant. One thing I take issue with is paying 3% more to use a credit card!

Thanks to Gregory Beaumont everything went as he said it would. I only brought my Camaro in for a NYS inspection, but the alignment machine said the rear needed an adjustment. This was a much better visit than last year. It helped restore my faith in this dealership, since changing from Robert's Chevrolet which was top notch.

An error by the finance manager led to inconvenience and hassle for me. I was asked to come back in several times due to an error I pointed out before signing the papers for my lease. When I pointed that out I was quickly offered a decrease in my monthly payments. I said I would come in the following day to work it out and I was met with dismissal as the error was worked around by the FM, leading me to believe I could have received a better price on my lease. The manger was texting me to urgently complete this survey or I wouldn’t receive the benefit offered, only problem was that I hadn’t received the survey yet. The salesman, Yrad was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional.

Greg was very polite and helpful. Although the check engine light is still on in my Chevy, Greg has assured me he will get an answer from the Chevy dealership soon and is pushing for the top technician to take a look at my truck.

Requested NYS Inspection and oil change with tire rotation. The request was completed without incident. I will return in the future for service.

Danny was the best! he was patient and very helpful and in the end that is why we chose to go with Chevy. I came in to lease a Tahoe with my wife, and we wound up leasing the Tahoe and buying Corvette Eray. I would recommend Danny to anyone.

I already responded to one of these requests. Please do not contact me again. My experience was far beyond sub par. I had an appointment for Monday at 9am. I was exactly on time. My truck wasn't ready until Friday. Unacceptable. I left two messages and received no call back until Thursday. I then got a call on Thursday at 5. I was told that could pick my truck up in 15 minutes or I would have to wait until Friday. I live more than 15 minutes away from the dealership. Why did I make an appointment and then get my truck back 5 days later?

Dawn is an excellent service writer--My wife and I brought two (2) cars at the same time for service. Dawn made it all go very smooth. It seems that every dealer you call for service has a one to two week wait. If you go there, you find out there is no wait. They just tell you that on the phone. I have never called Dawn once to have one of my cars serviced where she didn't accommodate me immediately. Excellent service department!

My experience at Empire Chevrolet was a mixed bag. My advisor, Greg, was fine; he was helpful and professional and kept me informed regarding the status of my Cobalt during the time it was being repaired - really, he was very good, in fact, the only positive part of this review. The real issue was going on behind the scenes. Before Empire Chevrolet of Hicksville took over Robert Chevrolet, Robert Chevrolet had amazing service. If they were still the same dealership, I would've had my car back within at least a few days tops. Instead, Empire Chevrolet had it for almost 1 month. They were backed up and were able to see my car after about a week and a half after I brought it in. I understand that sometimes places can be a bit backlogged for a day or two, however, being behind for a week and a half is unacceptable. I brought my car in October 23rd and picked it up November 19th. I brought it in due to some issues with the transmission. Even though the car is in good working order for the most part, the service department didn't even bother to clean my car up. There was a lot of sprigs from a tree around my windshield and many more in the seams around my trunk. I, too, found a couple of smudges on my car (which I was able to clean). I felt my car didn't receive as much respect as it should've. Also, I did notice that when I shift into reverse, I heard the slight sound of mild grinding. Even though the car still works and gets me from point A to point B safely and efficiently, I feel as though Empire Chevrolet of Hicksville could've done much better.

Everything went well. All the people that helped me were very nice and helpful. The only complaint I have is the price of $175 to do an oil change and tire rotation. I find that ridiculous. If I had know that I would not have brought it there to get it done. My first 2 were free so just out of habit I brought it back for a 3rd. I understand the price of labor and materials has gone up but still that’s over the top. This is why most people refuse to go to a dealership service department. This might even deter me from leasing another truck from Empire in the next year and a half. I had a salesman there I liked a few years ago and he has since left so I’m pretty sure I will be shopping around for a better lease and note to self never use a dealership for an oil change. Only recalls or warranty work.

The only complaint I have is that the website gave zero indication when booking a service appointment that there was no service on the weekend. Please improve your service booking page

Elia explained everything that was scheduled to be done. He kept me informed of how long it would be until my car would be ready and went over the final bill line by line. One note - I forgot to tell him to also do the NYS inspection. I went to a service station the next day and the mechanic pointed out that 2 tires needed to be replaced. This fact was evidently missed when the tires were rotated.

What proof do I have the “much needed” break fluid change was actually done. Zero confidence. Same day email from sales manager they want my car. I refuse to do anymore business with Empire.

Wasn’t happy the second time I went down to pick up the car. I said what time I would be there, only to wait over an hour to sign the paperwork. If was going to be that long, they should have informed us earlier. Not sitting at dealership just waiting.

Since it was a diagnostic issue I had to leave my car. Greg Beaumont (my advisor) made sure I had my car the next day. The issue was the check engine light. The issue causing it was resolved but 15 minutes after I left the dealership the light came back on. The app indicated it was a different issue. I called and was told to bring my car in to be scanned. I can’t do that until next week. Also, when I used the backup camera the guide lines were missing. Using Google I found out it was probably due to the battery being disconnected. (I did get an alert from OnStar). I had to use the infotainment system to reset the factory settings. I am now able to see the lines. This should have been done before I picked up the car.

I feel like Empire Chevrolet always does the right job when it comes to my Sonic LTZ. If something does not come out right, they are willing to correct it until the customer is satisfied. Always better to go to the dealership because they have the proper equipment necessary to diagnose their cars.

Experience was good. We leased 2 cars. Matt the agent was great. We got very good deals. At the end the $500 GM card option did not work per car and I was going to have and eat the $1,000. We settled on $500 off. I wasn't happy with what I thought as a sneaky tactic.

I have come to this location numerous times for service and no advisor has ever mentioned to me that I had credits that I could use towards services! The advisor I had on Saturday told me and was so great and friendly and able to get me out on time to pick up my daughter!

Communication between the sales team, floor manager, and inventory manager was extremely poor. Despite numerous attempts to reach them via text, phone, and email for updates on my car’s arrival, I was ignored. However, the dealership was relentless in contacting me when they wanted to close the sale. The lack of accountability and the 'blame game' between departments were frustrating. A simple status update would have gone a long way. I will not be returning to this dealership for future Chevrolet purchases

Our car has been in service multiple times and the problem has not been resolved. The service department has not been helpful in trying to get needed parts and once the part was installed, the problem remained. Our vehicle is a lease, therefore, when it remains in the service department for days, we continue to pay our monthly lease charge however are unable to use the vehicle. Service department says they have repaired the vehicle, however, within 3 days the problem was not solved and the car had to be returned to service. We have contacted a representative from General Motors and are awaiting their assistance with this matter.

Katherine was great. It was one of the most pleasant experiences I've ever had purchasing/leasing a vehicle. All of our preliminary communication was via email and text. Katherine answered all of my questions and provided all the information on the vehicle and financing options I requested. Once we finalized the numbers, we made the appointment I came in, looked at the vehicle and signed the paperwork. It was literally about an hour and a half vs a whole day event I've experienced in the past.

The team at the counter are very helpful only. I have brought my Vehicle for road noise from both the drivers side doors front and rear passenger. They is constant noise coming from both doors at high speeds. For 2 years now I have complained and chevy doesn't fix the problem. I just drove 1600 miles listening to this noise. 600 dollars a month and no satisfaction. I will be complaining to chevrolet direct after this feedback.

I’m going to have to make another appointment because the breaks are squeaking again. The high voltage message is on again. It definitely comes on when I the AC on which puts out hot air. This will be the 2nd time in a month my car needs to be serviced. I also wasn’t told the car needed to be kept overnight.
